According to sources close to the negotiations, Ferencváros initiated discussions with Bakrar’s representatives earlier this week. The 24-year-old striker, currently playing for FC Cartagena in Spain’s Segunda División, has drawn interest from multiple European clubs following a standout season in which he netted 14 goals and provided 6 assists.
