WARSAW — Artur Jędrzejczyk, the enduring heart of Legia Warsaw’s backline, continues to lead the Ekstraklasa giants as club captain, reaffirming his status as one of the most decorated players in Legia’s history. The 37-year-old Polish defender recently extended his contract through the end of the 2025/26 season, solidifying his role both on and off the pitch.

Jędrzejczyk, who first debuted for Legia in 2007, has amassed over 400 appearances for the club, a feat matched by only two other players in its storied history. His leadership has been instrumental in securing 14 major trophies, including six Polish championships and seven Polish Cups.
