South Carolina Gamecocks Defensive Lineman Elijah Davis Enters Transfer Portal
South Carolina defensive lineman Elijah Davis has officially entered the transfer portal. The portal opened on Monday, December 9, prompting numerous players to announce their plans to transfer. Davis is the latest Gamecock to declare his intention to explore new opportunities.
A member of the 2021 recruiting class, Davis began his career at East Mississippi Community College, where he spent two years before transferring to South Carolina. Regarded as one of the top JUCO prospects at the time, he joined the Gamecocks and played over the next two seasons. In 2023, Davis appeared in games throughout the season, earning a start against Florida while serving primarily as a reserve defensive player.
