Budapest, Hungary – September 6, 2025
Hungarian giants Ferencváros TC have officially announced the signing of Nigerian forward Bamidele Yusuf from Serbian side FK Vojvodina, locking in the 23-year-old on a four-year contract that signals the club’s intent to bolster its attacking firepower ahead of a demanding Europa League campaign.
Yusuf arrives in Budapest following a breakout season in the Serbian SuperLiga, where he racked up 18 goals and 4 assists, earning praise for his explosive pace, sharp movement, and clinical finishing. His performances drew attention across Europe, but Ferencváros moved swiftly to secure his signature.
Speaking at the unveiling, manager Robbie Keane expressed high hopes for the young striker:
“Bamidele brings a dynamic edge to our forward line. His speed and creativity are exactly what we need to compete at the highest level. He’s not just a goal scorer—he’s a game changer.”
Yusuf, who began his career in Nigeria before making his mark in Eastern Europe, said he was “thrilled” to join a club with such rich history and passionate supporters.
“Ferencváros is a big step for me. I’m ready to give everything for the badge and help the team achieve great things, especially in Europe.”
The signing comes as Ferencváros prepare for the second leg of their Europa League qualifier against Qarabağ FK, where Yusuf is expected to make his debut. With the team trailing 3–1 from the first leg, fans will be hoping the Nigerian forward can inject fresh energy and firepower into the squad.
