Ferencváros Launches €1.5M Bid for Jagiellonia’s Afimico Pululu…

Budapest, August 30 — Ferencváros TC has made its intentions clear: the Hungarian champions are pushing hard to land Jagiellonia Białystok’s explosive forward Afimico Pululu, with sources confirming an initial bid just north of €1.5 million.

The 25-year-old Angolan striker, who dazzled in Poland’s Ekstraklasa last season with his pace and clinical finishing, has emerged as a top target for Ferencváros manager Dejan Stanković. Club insiders suggest the deal could accelerate quickly, with negotiations already underway and Pululu reportedly open to a move that would reunite him with several former teammates in Budapest.

Pululu, who joined Jagiellonia from FC Basel, has racked up 11 goals and 6 assists in his last campaign, drawing interest from clubs in Belgium and Turkey. But Ferencváros’s aggressive approach—and their Champions League ambitions—may tip the scales.

“He’s a dynamic forward who fits our system perfectly,” a source close to the club told Nemzeti Sport. “We’re confident this offer will start serious talks.”

Jagiellonia is said to be holding out for closer to €2 million, but Ferencváros’s track record of sealing deals late in the window suggests this saga is far from over.

With the Hungarian transfer deadline looming, fans are watching closely. Pululu’s arrival could inject fresh firepower into a squad already brimming with talent—and signal Ferencváros’s intent to dominate both domestically and in Europe.
