Florida State football has made a move for one of the top prospects in the Northeast. The Seminoles’ coaching staff has been actively recruiting in recent months, sending out numerous offers as they continue to expand their 2026 recruiting board. Their efforts and intensity appear stronger than in previous years.
On Monday, three-star offensive tackle Marlen Bright announced he had received a scholarship offer from Florida State. While he didn’t specify which coach extended the offer, it likely came from offensive line coach Herb Hand or assistant coach Cooper Williams.
Since the beginning of the year, Bright has attracted interest from several FBS programs. Last month, he narrowed his choices to a top-seven list featuring North Carolina, Penn State, Texas A&M, Tennessee, Illinois, Syracuse, and Stanford.
