Alabama football’s early enrollee freshman wide receiver, Lotzeir Brooks, made waves on Friday as he was seen taking reps alongside some of the Crimson Tide’s veteran offensive players during practice.
In a photo captured by Alabama Athletics’ Kent Gidley, Brooks was spotted lining up at wide receiver while quarterback Ty Simpson and running back Jam Miller took their positions, signaling his early integration into the team’s offensive unit.
Brooks, a standout talent from New Jersey, has already impressed his teammates. Defensive back Bray Hubbard recently praised the young receiver’s speed and playmaking ability, calling him a tough matchup.
“Lotzeir Brooks, he’s doing really great,” Hubbard said. “That dude’s fast. He’s hard to keep up with. I ain’t even gonna lie he’s tough to cover.”
With early praise and valuable reps with key players, Brooks is already making a strong case for a role in Alabama’s offense.
