For the first time in both his career and Buffalo Bills history, star quarterback Josh Allen has been crowned the NFL MVP. This well-deserved recognition comes after an incredible season in which Allen proved himself as one of the league’s most dynamic talents.

Selected as the seventh overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft out of Wyoming, Allen’s journey to the NFL was anything but traditional. Overlooked by major college programs, he tirelessly sent out emails with highlight reels in hopes of securing a scholarship. Now, seven years into his professional career, there’s no doubt about the impact he’s made as a quarterback.

Following the announcement of his MVP victory, the Bills shared a touching message and video celebrating their star player’s achievement. “We’re all so proud of you. Congratulations to our MVP, Josh Allen,” the team posted. The tribute came from a children’s hospital in Buffalo, emphasizing the lasting influence Allen has had on the local community beyond football.

This season, Allen led the Bills to an impressive 13-4 record and a spot in the AFC Championship Game. Statistically, he had a phenomenal year, throwing for 3,731 yards, 28 touchdowns, and just six interceptions while also rushing for 531 yards and 12 touchdowns. It was undoubtedly the best season of his career.

Now, the only thing left for Allen to achieve is securing a Super Bowl title.
