New NC State Commit DL Makhi Williams-Lee Shares His Excitement
Makhi Williams-Lee, a new addition to NC State’s defensive line, opens up about his commitment to the Wolfpack.
Defensive line recruits have been a top priority for NC State this year, and the team is making significant progress in strengthening this area. Recently, Makhi Williams-Lee, a nose tackle from Atlanta (Ga.) Lakeside, joined the Pack 25.
“It’s all settled now, and I couldn’t be more grateful,” expressed Williams-Lee, who stands at 6-foot-2 and weighs 280 pounds. “It feels incredible. This is exactly what I wanted.”
“After visiting multiple schools, I knew NC State was the place for me. The coaching staff made a big impression, and I connected well with the players during my official visit. I felt at ease with everyone. They all have great energy, just like me. It’s truly a blessing.”
In addition to NC State, Williams-Lee visited Oklahoma and Texas Tech, with the visits occurring over three consecutive weekends in June.
