BREAKING NEWS: Las Vegas Raiders Top Wide Receiver is Projected to Remain out for a Second Straight Game Due to Devastating Injury Setback.

Raiders wide receiver Jakobi Meyers will miss his second consecutive game due to an ankle injury as Las Vegas faces the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday.

The Raiders will again be short on receivers, as star player Davante Adams has been sidelined for the last three games with a hamstring injury and was traded to the New York Jets on Tuesday.

Meyers is currently second on the team with 25 receptions for 273 yards and one touchdown, while tight end Brock Bowers leads with 37 catches for 384 yards and one touchdown.

Coach Antonio Pierce noted on Friday that the team needs to involve receiver Tre Tucker more in the offense and special teams. Tucker was targeted twice during last Sunday’s 32-13 loss to Pittsburgh but did not record any receptions.

This season, Tucker has 18 catches for 190 yards and one touchdown. “We just didn’t get the touches to him,” Pierce acknowledged. “Shame on us, but hopefully that won’t be the case this week.”

Pierce also confirmed that guard Dylan Parham will be out due to a foot injury, while right tackle Thayer Munford is returning after missing three weeks because of knee and ankle issues. Rookie DJ Glaze has performed well in Munford’s absence.

Munford has played various positions, and Pierce stated that the coaching staff would make decisions regarding the offensive line starters during Friday and Saturday practices.
