JUST IN: News York Giants are Set to Enlist Top Offensive Lineman From the Practice Squad of the San Francisco 49ers in a Monumental Blockbuster Deal.

The Giants have lost left tackle Andrew Thomas for the season due to a foot injury and are working to bolster their offensive line ahead of their game against the Eagles on Sunday.

During a press conference on Friday, head coach Brian Daboll announced that the team plans to sign tackle Chris Hubbard from the 49ers’ practice squad.

Hubbard, who signed with the 49ers in May, was placed on the practice squad after being released in August. Last season, he started nine games for the Titans and has appeared in a total of 85 regular-season games, with 49 of those as a starter for the Browns and Steelers prior to joining Tennessee.

This season, Jermaine Eluemunor has been playing as the Giants’ right tackle and has also taken snaps at left tackle alongside Josh Ezeudu this week. With Hubbard’s signing, he will provide an additional option along with Evan Neal.
