Winnipeg Jets Sign Depth Forward Jaret Anderson-Dolan
The Winnipeg Jets have inked forward Jaret Anderson-Dolan to a two-year deal valued at $775,000 annually. The contract will be two-way in the first year and one-way in the second year.
Anderson-Dolan, 24, was selected 41st overall in the second round of the 2017 NHL Entry Draft by the Los Angeles Kings. During his five seasons with the Spokane Chiefs, he was notably productive, tallying 76 points (39G, 37A) in his third season and 91 points (40G, 51A) in his fourth season over 72 and 70 games, respectively.
He began his professional career with the Ontario Reign in the 2017-18 season and made his NHL debut with the Los Angeles Kings the following year.
Anderson-Dolan has played 127 NHL games with the Los Angeles Kings and Nashville Predators, recording 28 points (15G, 13A). His best AHL season was in 2021-22 with the Ontario Reign, where he notched 47 points (24G, 23A) in 54 games. His most productive NHL season saw him earn 12 points (7G, 5A) in 46 games.
This signing adds a strong scorer to the Manitoba Moose and a potential call-up option for the Jets in case of injuries or other unforeseen circumstances.
The Calgary-born player still has ample time to fulfill his original draft potential, making him a potentially valuable signing for the Winnipeg Jets.
