Milwaukee Bucks: Damian Lillard Shares Memorable Moment with Angel Reese and Diana Taurasi…
During the NBA offseason, Milwaukee Bucks star point guard Damian Lillard has found himself with extra time.
Last Sunday, he chose to spend part of that time attending a WNBA game where the Phoenix Mercury hosted the Chicago Sky.
Following the Mercury’s 86-68 victory, Lillard had the opportunity to connect with Phoenix veteran and future Hall of Famer Diana Taurasi, as well as Sky’s standout rookie Angel Reese.
It’s encouraging to see top NBA players like Lillard actively supporting women’s basketball in person. He likely enjoyed the game, even though it was a lopsided contest.
Taurasi delivered a classic performance, leading her team with 23 points at 42 years old. On the other side, Reese put up an impressive double-double with 19 points and 20 rebounds, despite the loss.
As the Bucks prepare for the upcoming 2024-25 season, with the opener just over two months away, Lillard will soon return to the grind.
In his first season with Milwaukee, Lillard averaged 24.3 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 7.0 assists per game, shooting 42.4 percent from the field and 35.4 percent from three-point range. Having turned 34 last July, Lillard aims to show that he still has plenty left in the tankājust like Taurasi.
