Borussia Mönchengladbach tracking Orlando City’s Marco Pasalic amid wider Bundesliga interest
Borussia Mönchengladbach are keeping tabs on Orlando City forward Marco Pasalic, according to Sky Germany. The German-born winger has caught Gladbach’s attention due to his dynamic profile, and a potential move could materialize once the MLS season concludes this winter.
Pasalic, 25, isn’t short of suitors—several Bundesliga clubs are reportedly interested, along with Serie A’s Bologna and Dutch side Feyenoord. He joined Orlando earlier this year from Croatian outfit Rijeka in a €4.8 million deal, having previously developed in the youth systems of Borussia Dortmund, Stuttgart, and Karlsruhe.
In his debut MLS campaign, Pasalic has registered 12 goals and five assists across 33 appearances. Orlando currently sit eighth in the Eastern Conference and face a wildcard playoff clash on Thursday.
Gladbach, meanwhile, are bottom of the Bundesliga following a 3–1 defeat to Union Berlin. With key attackers Tim Kleindienst and Robin Hack sidelined, the club is actively seeking offensive reinforcements to revive their season.
