Ravens Hit by Injuries: Adisa Isaac Out, Keaton Mitchell on the Mend…
Baltimore, MD — August 17, 2025
The Baltimore Ravens are dealing with a pair of key injuries as they prepare for their final preseason matchup and the fast-approaching regular season.
Outside linebacker Adisa Isaac suffered a dislocated elbow during last weekend’s preseason win over the Dallas Cowboys. Team officials confirmed Monday that Isaac will be sidelined for several weeks, though the injury is not expected to require surgery. The rookie pass rusher had been turning heads in camp with his explosiveness off the edge and was projected to play a rotational role behind veterans Odafe Oweh and David Ojabo.
“Adisa’s been a bright spot for us,” said head coach John Harbaugh. “It’s tough to see him go down, but we’re confident he’ll bounce back quickly and contribute later this season.”
Meanwhile, running back Keaton Mitchell is nursing a hamstring strain that kept him out of the Dallas game. The second-year back has shown flashes of speed and versatility in camp, and the team remains optimistic about his availability for Week 1.
“Keaton’s progressing well,” Harbaugh added. “We’re being cautious, but all signs point to him being ready for the opener.”
The injuries could impact roster decisions ahead of the Aug. 27 cutdown deadline. Rookie RB Rasheen Ali may see increased reps in Mitchell’s absence, while the linebacker group could lean more heavily on veterans and undrafted standouts like Jay Higgins IV.
The Ravens wrap up their preseason schedule next Friday against the Washington Commanders, with final roster spots still up for grabs.
