Nikola Jokic Sends a Chilling Warning to Doubters as Nuggets Gear Up for Playoffs…

Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic has issued a stark warning to anyone underestimating his team ahead of the NBA playoffs.

In a surprising move, the Nuggets’ ownership recently fired both head coach Michael Malone and general manager Calvin Booth—just two seasons after the team won an NBA championship. Despite that shakeup, Denver remains solidly in the Western Conference playoff standings.

The sudden front office overhaul has led many to speculate that the team is throwing in the towel on a serious playoff run. But Jokic clearly doesn’t see it that way.

On Wednesday night, the Nuggets secured a win over the Sacramento Kings in their first game since Malone’s departure. After the game, Jokic delivered a powerful message to the rest of the NBA when asked about the team’s mindset.

“People say we’re vulnerable,” Jokic said. “But the beast is most dangerous when it’s vulnerable. Maybe he woke up the beast.”

It’s the kind of message no rival in the Western Conference wanted to hear—especially from a multi-time MVP.

As of now, the Nuggets are slated to face the Los Angeles Clippers in the first round of the playoffs. If Jokic is truly locked in, the Clippers may want to brace themselves—because the beast may already be awake.
