Beaver Stadium Renovations: Penn State’s iconic Beaver Stadium is undergoing a significant $700 million renovation. The project commenced in January 2025, following the 2024 season, with the demolition of the west side upper bowl and the press box, which had been in place since 1959. The renovation plans include constructing the PAM Health Misitano Family Tower and adding 7,900 temporary bleacher seats atop the suite level. Ground-level enhancements will feature increased restrooms and concession stands, expanded concourses, and a new Welcome Center with event space. The project is slated for completion in 2027 and is expected to enhance the fan experience and boost the regional economy. Notably, the Misitano Family contributed a generous $25 million donation to the project.

2024 Season Recap: The Nittany Lions concluded the 2024 season with a 13–3 record. They reached the Big Ten Championship Game but fell to the Oregon Ducks with a score of 45–37. Despite this loss, Penn State secured its first-ever berth in the College Football Playoff (CFP). They triumphed over SMU 38–10 in the first round and defeated Boise State 31–14 in the Fiesta Bowl quarterfinal. Their playoff run ended in the semifinals with a narrow 27–24 loss to Notre Dame in the Orange Bowl.
