Bills Bolster Defensive Line Shortly After Signing Joey Bosa…
Buffalo is strengthening its defensive front with another veteran addition.
Following their reported agreement to sign linebacker Joey Bosa for the 2025 season, the Buffalo Bills are making yet another key move on the defensive line.
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the Bills have signed defensive tackle Larry Ogunjobi to a one-year deal worth $8.3 million.
Ogunjobi, 30, played the past three seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers, where he started 45 games and recorded six sacks. Originally drafted 65th overall by Charlotte in 2017, he spent four years with the Cleveland Browns and one season with the Cincinnati Bengals before joining Pittsburgh in 2022. The Steelers released him on Monday.
His best season in terms of sacks came in 2021 with Cincinnati, when he recorded 7.5. In 2024, he registered 1.5 sacks along with 41 combined tackles.
Buffalo, which has won at least 10 games for six straight seasons, saw its defense take a step back in 2024 and suffered another playoff loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
