Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur has addressed recent reports linking the team to Seattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf, who was traded to the Pittsburgh Steelers on March 9, 2025.
LaFleur emphasized that the Packers did not make an offer for Metcalf, stating, “We are always exploring opportunities to improve our team, but we did not pursue a trade for DK.” This aligns with reports indicating that Green Bay was not actively involved in trade discussions with Seattle.
The Packers remain committed to their current roster and are focused on developing their existing talent. LaFleur expressed confidence in the team’s direction, saying, “We believe in the players we have and are excited about the upcoming season.”
As the Packers prepare for the new season, they continue to evaluate all options to strengthen their lineup, keeping an eye on potential opportunities that align with their long-term goals.
