This offseason, Aaron Rodgers became a free agent after the New York Jets decided to move on from the veteran quarterback following the 2024 season.
Initially, teams like the New York Giants and the Los Angeles Rams (before re-signing Matthew Stafford) were rumored as potential landing spots for the four-time NFL MVP. But now, another contender may be entering the mix the Las Vegas Raiders.
Raiders defensive end Maxx Crosby made it clear that he’d love to see Rodgers in silver and black. Speaking on his podcast, The Rush With Maxx, the four-time Pro Bowler acknowledged Rodgers’ difficult return from a torn Achilles but expressed confidence that the legendary QB still has plenty left in the tank.
“I think he’s going to have a big year this year, and I hope it’s in our town,” Crosby stated.
With the Raiders still in search of a quarterback after Stafford’s decision to stay in L.A., other veteran names like Russell Wilson, Sam Darnold, and Justin Fields have surfaced as potential targets.
While Rodgers and the Raiders haven’t been widely linked so far, the possibility can’t be ruled out. And if the future Hall of Famer does land in Las Vegas, another intriguing question arises could his former star receiver, Davante Adams, who was just released by the Jets, reunite with him in the desert?
