The Philadelphia Wings and Las Vegas Desert Dogs completed a trade on Tuesday, marking the third National Lacrosse League (NLL) deal of the day. The transaction saw Philadelphia send left-handed forward Holden Cattoni to Las Vegas in exchange for transition player Shane Simpson. This move reflects each team’s strategic approach, with Philadelphia reinforcing its defensive unit while Vegas enhances its offensive capabilities.
Cattoni has been a key offensive contributor for the Wings this season. He ranks third on the team in both goals and total points, having scored 21 times and recorded 59 points overall. His impressive offensive output places him among the league’s top performers, ranking 13th in total points across the NLL. Additionally, his average of 5.4 points per game positions him 14th in the league, further highlighting his scoring consistency and playmaking abilities.
