LeBron James and Anthony Davis appear on the injury report for the Mavericks-Lakers matchup.
As Luka Doncic prepares for his first game against his former team since the trade deadline, the Dallas Mavericks head to Los Angeles with an injury-riddled frontcourt. Nearly every available center has been sidelined in recent weeks, prompting the team to sign Moses Brown to a 10-day contract. So far, his performance has been as expected.
Dallas’ injury report remains unchanged from their last two games post-All-Star Break. Anthony Davis (adductor strain), Dereck Lively II (right ankle stress fracture), Daniel Gafford (right MCL sprain), and Caleb Martin (right hip strain) are all still out. Since being traded, Davis has played less than three quarters for the Mavericks. However, he, Gafford, and Lively are set for re-evaluation on March 6.
Dwight Powell is listed as doubtful due to a right hip strain but may return soon. P.J. Washington is questionable with a right ankle sprain, though he has played in both games since the break.
For the Lakers, LeBron James is on the injury report with left foot injury management but is considered probable to play. Meanwhile, former Maverick Maxi Kleber remains sidelined after undergoing right foot surgery.
Luka Doncic is no longer on the injury report, and his minutes restriction has been lifted following his calf strain. Expect him to put on a strong performance against his old team.
