JUST IN: Ex-Alabama Star Landon Dickerson Slams Jalen Hurts Over ‘Interference’ While Shotgunning Beer on ‘Tonight Show.

Former Alabama offensive lineman Landon Dickerson is throwing a flag on his quarterback, Jalen Hurts, after an incident on The Tonight Show. Dickerson, alongside his Philadelphia Eagles teammates, joined Hurts and Saquon Barkley for a fun shotgunning challenge with host Jimmy Fallon. While the others took part, Hurts opted out of drinking, instead spraying beer all over Dickerson. The ex-Bama lineman isn’t letting it slide, jokingly suggesting there might be a penalty for interference.

“There’s video replay available,” Dickerson quipped on NFL Network. “I might challenge the play. Our quarterback didn’t drink, but his beer went on me definitely interference. I think that’s flag-worthy. It needs a review, but I gave it my all out there.”

Shifting gears, Dickerson also opened up about his knee injury, which kept him out of the second half of the NFC Championship Game against Washington but didn’t stop him from playing in the Super Bowl victory over Kansas City. When asked about the specifics of the injury, he admitted he wasn’t fully sure what was wrong.

“Honestly, I don’t know 100% what happened,” Dickerson shared. “It’s like taking your car to the mechanic when it’s making a noise. I’ll go to the doctors, get it checked out, and we’ll get it figured out.”

Eagles and Alabama fans alike will be hoping to see a fully healthy Dickerson back on the field next season as the Eagles look to defend their Super Bowl title.
