The Seahawks have brought in Klint Kubiak as their new offensive coordinator, but without significant improvement in their offensive line, their struggles on that side of the ball may continue into 2025.
Quarterback Geno Smith endured 50 sacks last season, and Seattle’s ground game ranked a dismal 28th in the league, largely due to inconsistent blocking and protection. Speaking on Seattle Sports, Seahawks General Manager John Schneider acknowledged the team’s shortcomings and emphasized their commitment to fixing them.
“We know exactly what our deficiencies are,” Schneider said. “We can all see it, right? And we have a plan to address everything.”
Schneider pointed to the Eagles’ successful approach in acquiring and developing offensive linemen en route to their Super Bowl LIX victory, noting that Seattle must follow a similar path to strengthen their line and improve their playoff chances next season.
