JUST IN: Seahawks Offensive Mastermind Defects to Mike Vrabel’s Patriots in a Stunning Coaching Coup.

While it may not be a blockbuster move, the Seattle Seahawks have lost yet another member of their coaching staff this offseason.

Chuckie Keeton, who joined the Seahawks last year as an offensive assistant, is heading to New England to take on the same role under Mike Vrabel in his first season as the Patriots’ head coach.

Keeton, a former Utah State quarterback and teammate of Seahawks legend Bobby Wagner, had spent his entire coaching career in the college ranks before making the leap to the NFL with Seattle. Unlike ex-Seahawks offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb—who was recently let go—Keeton will remain in the league for his next coaching chapter.

Tracking the Seahawks’ Coaching Departures This Offseason:

  • Ryan Grubb (Offensive Coordinator): Fired (Jan. 6)
  • Scott Huff (Offensive Line Coach): Not retained, replaced by John Benton (Feb. 3)
  • Charles London (Quarterbacks Coach): Hired by New York Jets (Feb. 2)
  • Zak Hill (Offensive Assistant/Quality Control): Hired by Boise State as Pass Game Coordinator (Jan. 9)
  • Chuckie Keeton (Offensive Assistant): Hired by New England Patriots (Feb. 5)
  • Nick Perry (Defensive Quality Control Coach): Hired by Arkansas as Defensive Backs Coach (Jan. 10)

Seattle’s coaching staff continues to undergo major changes, and with these departures piling up, all eyes are on the next moves the team will make to reshape its sideline leadership.
