Luke Getsy, former offensive coordinator for the Chicago Bears, made a brief appearance at Packers practices late last season, working as a defensive consultant alongside head coach Matt LaFleur. According to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, the Packers have now brought Getsy on board full-time as a senior assistant.
At 40 years old, Getsy served as the Bears’ offensive coordinator in both 2022 and 2023, though his tenure ended after the team let him go. The Bears ranked 23rd and 18th in offensive performance during those two seasons.
This year, Getsy joined the Raiders as offensive coordinator, but was dismissed after just nine games into the season.
