Option #3: Move Braun Back to the 6th Man Role
Braun has proven to be a reliable starting option this season, stepping up after the departure of Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. While his impact isn’t as flashy as Gordon or Westbrook’s, his consistency and attention to detail have made him a crucial part of the team’s success. Demoting Braun after he has flourished in the starting role would seem a questionable move.
The Verdict: What Should Malone Do?
Ultimately, the best option may be to move Westbrook back to the bench. The starting lineup has built strong chemistry and should remain intact to continue building on that success. Westbrook can still play significant minutes in the first half and in closing situations during tight games. Meanwhile, Braun should keep his spot as he’s earned it with his solid play.
If Gordon is fully committed to his 6th man role, increasing his minutes could continue to work, especially with his unselfish play.
