JUST IN: Maxx Crosby Delivers a Bold and Irresistible Plea to Coaches Doubting the Raiders’ Potential.

The Las Vegas Raiders reportedly had their sights set on Ben Johnson as their next head coach, but he declined the offer in favor of the Chicago Bears. With few other compelling candidates, the Raiders are facing a tough situation. Offensive coordinators Todd Monken and Liam Coen seem uninterested in interviewing, signaling that the position may not be seen as attractive by many in the coaching ranks.

Still, the Raiders have some star power, especially in defensive end Maxx Crosby, one of the NFL’s top defenders. After Johnson’s decision, Crosby took to his podcast to highlight the perks of coaching in Las Vegas. “You don’t have state income tax, the stadium is brand new, and the city is growing with the A’s and an eventual NBA team,” Crosby shared on The Rush. “Vegas has so much to offer, but it needs the right people, the right mindset, and a winning culture to succeed. Consistent turnover won’t get it done, and that’s been proven over time. I trust they’ll find the right person for the job, and we’ll see where it goes.”

While Las Vegas may not appeal to everyone, it is a rapidly growing city with a lot to offer. It’s not the worst place to coach in the NFL, but the Raiders have struggled in recent years, and owner Mark Davis hasn’t proven to be a successful figurehead. For the Raiders to turn things around, they need stability at the head coach position, though attracting top-tier candidates may prove challenging if they continue to be overlooked.
