SAD NEWS: New Orleans Saints Fans Mourns 14 Victims Inclucuding 3 Star Players in a Fresh Terror Attack…
The New Orleans Saints are grieving the tragic death of Matthew Tenedorio, a staff member at the Caesars Superdome, who was one of the 14 victims of the New Year’s terrorist attack.
The NFL team expressed their sorrow on Thursday, stating they were “heartbroken” by the loss.
A statement from the team read, “Among those lost was Matthew Tenedorio, a valued member of the ASM New Orleans video production team.”
“Matthew was a young, talented individual with a promising future, contributing to high-quality content for both the New Orleans Saints and Pelicans.”
Tenedorio’s parents spoke to local media about the devastating loss, with his father sharing that Matthew’s dream job was working at the Superdome. Tragically, his mother revealed she had tried to convince him not to go to Bourbon Street for New Year’s Eve.
After hearing about the attack, his parents desperately tried to contact him, but when they couldn’t reach him, they feared the worst.
As previously reported, former Princeton Tigers football player Tiger Bech was also among the victims.
