JUST IN: Alabama GM Confirms the Departure of Key Quarter Back Ahead of ReliaQuest Bowl Showdown…

Will ReliaQuest Bowl Be Jalen Milroe’s Final Game with Alabama Football? QB Reflects on His Future

If Jalen Milroe is aiming to start his NFL career in 2025, the opportunity appears promising. The Alabama quarterback has been ranked No. 3 among quarterbacks eligible for the 2025 NFL Draft by ESPN analyst Jordan Reid, who projects him as an early-to-mid Day 2 pick.

However, before thinking too far ahead, Milroe and Alabama must face Michigan in the ReliaQuest Bowl on Tuesday. Following a practice session in Tampa on Saturday, Milroe addressed whether he’s considered the possibility of this game being his last with the Crimson Tide.

“For me, it’s all about maximizing the present,” Milroe said. “Taking care of right now, because thinking about the future doesn’t matter if you’re not handling the present. I’m focused on playing with my teammates, preparing, practicing, and staying in the moment.”

Milroe has served as Alabama’s starting quarterback for the past two seasons. During the 2024 regular season, he recorded 2,652 passing yards with 15 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. His impact extended to the run game, where he accumulated 719 yards and 20 rushing touchdowns.

Reflecting on his time with Alabama, Milroe shared what he’s cherished most about being part of the Crimson Tide.

“The best part for me was the support from my coaching staff,” Milroe said. “And, of course, the incredible fan base. Playing in Bryant-Denny Stadium is unmatched. Every moment as Alabama’s starting quarterback has been special. Representing this great state, wearing the script A, and playing for my family has been an honor I’ll never take for granted.”

Alabama’s season-ending matchup kicks off at 11 a.m. CT on Tuesday at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa and will be broadcast on ESPN.
