Three former Alabama high school football stars have returned to NFL rosters, just in time for Christmas.
On Tuesday, linebacker Nicholas Morrow (Huntsville High School) was added to the Buffalo Bills’ active roster, linebacker Rashaan Evans (Auburn High School) joined the Atlanta Falcons’ practice squad, and defensive tackle Neil Farrell Jr. (Murphy High School) signed with the Miami Dolphins’ practice squad.
All three players are reuniting with teams they were part of earlier this season.
Morrow, an eight-year NFL veteran with 105 regular-season games and 58 starts, appeared in 11 games for the Bills before being released on Dec. 7.
Evans, a seven-year veteran with 87 regular-season games and 68 starts, played two games for the Falcons before being waived on Saturday. This marks the third time this season that Evans has joined Atlanta’s practice squad. He initially signed with the team on Oct. 1, was released on Oct. 12, re-signed on Oct. 21, and was promoted to the active roster on Nov. 1.
Farrell, a three-year veteran with 19 career NFL games, played in seven games for the Dolphins this season before being waived on Saturday. He first joined Miami’s practice squad on Sept. 26 and was promoted to the active roster on Nov. 11.
