Alabama OL Kadyn Proctor to Miss Bowl Game Against Michigan Due to Injury
Alabama’s football season will wrap up with one final game as the Crimson Tide faces Michigan in the ReliaQuest Bowl. However, the team will be without one of its top players, offensive lineman Kadyn Proctor, who is sidelined with a shoulder injury, according to reports.
Proctor’s shoulder issue has plagued him throughout the season. He missed the first two games due to the injury and is set to undergo surgery during the offseason. Despite these challenges, he started 10 games at left tackle and earned second-team All-SEC honors this year.
In Proctor’s absence, redshirt freshman Wilkin Formby is expected to step up. Formby has appeared in eight games this season, starting in two of them.
The game against Michigan is a rematch of last season’s thrilling College Football Playoff semifinal, where the Wolverines secured a victory in overtime. The matchup is scheduled for noon ET on New Year’s Eve in Tampa and will air on ESPN.
