The Baltimore Ravens have added former Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Scotty Washington to their practice squad. Washington, who has also been part of the Cincinnati Bengals and New England Patriots, has been navigating the AFC North and striving for a lasting spot in the NFL since his 2020 debut.
After going undrafted out of Wake Forest, Washington initially joined the Bengals, where he spent his first two seasons. In 2022, he transitioned to the Patriots, where he was briefly tested as a wide receiver before returning to his tight end role upon signing with the Steelers during the 2023 season. However, his stint in Pittsburgh was brief.
The Ravens picked up Washington late in 2023, and he has been a part of their roster intermittently since. With tight end Charlie Kolar sidelined for at least four weeks due to injury, Washington is now back in the fold and could be called up from the practice squad to fill the gap if needed.
