JUST IN: Los Angeles Rams Star Wide Receiver Arrested on DUI Suspicion Following Eagles Defeat.

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Demarcus Robinson was arrested early Monday morning on suspicion of driving under the influence.

According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), Robinson was stopped after officers observed a white Dodge sedan traveling at over 100 mph around 5:13 a.m. on the 101 freeway in the San Fernando Valley, not far from the Rams’ training facility in Woodland Hills. The CHP reported that Robinson displayed “objective signs and symptoms of alcohol impairment.” He was cited, arrested, and later released to a responsible party.

The arrest occurred a day after Robinson scored a touchdown during the Rams’ 37-20 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. This season, Robinson has been a reliable contributor for the Rams, recording 26 receptions for 384 yards and leading the team with six touchdown catches in 11 games. As a nine-year NFL veteran, he has provided a solid third option for quarterback Matthew Stafford, playing alongside standout receivers Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua.

Robinson began his career with the Kansas City Chiefs, where he spent six seasons and earned a Super Bowl title in February 2020. After a year with the Baltimore Ravens, he joined the Rams last season.
