Cooper Kupp is getting closer to returning to the Los Angeles Rams after being sidelined for most of the 2024 season due to an injury. He suffered the injury in Week 2 against the Arizona Cardinals and was placed on injured reserve.
However, his name made headlines on Tuesday for different reasons, as Dianna Russini from The Athletic reported that Kupp had been mentioned in trade discussions ahead of the November 5 deadline.
When asked about the rumors regarding his future with the Rams, Kupp acknowledged that he had seen the reports but emphasized his commitment to Los Angeles. “I’m aware of it, but at the end of the day, I’m gonna be where my feet are. That’s all I know,” Kupp said, according to Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic. “I have a job to do here. I take a lot of pride in giving everything I can for the guys in this building.”
Kupp, who has been with the Rams for seven and a half years, stated that he focuses on what he can control. “Whatever happens outside of that, I’ve got to control what I can control. Right now that means being the best L.A. Ram I can be.”
He is anticipated to return to the field for Thursday’s game against the Minnesota Vikings, marking his first game since September 15. Kupp made it clear that despite the trade rumors, he is concentrating on the present and ignoring outside distractions.
