JUST IN: Detroit Lions Completes Another Promising To Land a Sensational Player…
After the Las Vegas Raiders traded Davante Adams to the New York Jets, a new wave of trade rumors emerged, this time involving star pass rusher Maxx Crosby. Crosby, however, addressed these rumors on “The Rush Podcast,” where he clarified his position and shut down speculation about a possible move to the Detroit Lions.
Crosby explained that he’s had to calm his own teammates, who have heard the trade buzz. “It’s like they’ve started a whole movement,” Crosby said, referring to Detroit fans. He firmly stated, “I’m not trying to leave… I want to be here (in Las Vegas). I want to be Silver and Black.”
Detroit fans have shown interest in Crosby for two main reasons: first, the Lions’ top pass rusher, Aidan Hutchinson, suffered a leg injury during their Week 6 win against the Cowboys, sparking calls for the team to acquire an elite replacement. Second, Crosby has strong ties to Michigan, having been born there and playing college football at Eastern Michigan University, just 30 minutes from Detroit.
Despite the fan excitement, Crosby made it clear he’s committed to the Raiders. Even team owner Mark Davis echoed that sentiment last week, dismissing any trade rumors involving Crosby as “just not happening.” While unexpected moves do happen in the NFL, this particular rumor seems to have been put to rest for now.
