Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott is officially engaged to his girlfriend, Sarah Jane Ramos. The couple, who share a 7-month-old daughter named Margaret Jane “MJ” Rose, made the announcement on Instagram during the Cowboys’ bye week. Prescott proposed with the help of their daughter, who wore a onesie with the message, “Hi Mommy, Daddy has a question for you!”
The 31-year-old NFL star shared a photo of the moment, captioning it “4ever w/ @sarahjane.” Prescott, who recently signed a $240 million contract extension, chose a custom 10-carat emerald cut ring designed by Jason of Beverly Hills for the proposal. The jeweler praised Prescott’s involvement in creating the perfect ring, noting that he wanted something classic yet with a bit of flair.
Although the couple has kept their relationship mostly private, they were first linked in September 2023, when Ramos attended the Cowboys’ season opener. On her 30th birthday, Ramos posted a glimpse into their relationship, sharing moments from a birthday dinner with Prescott and photos from a Cowboys game.
The two announced they were expecting their daughter last November, welcoming her on February 29. Prescott and Ramos have since shared moments of their family life, including a July Instagram post featuring the trio in matching Burberry outfits and a sweet shot of Prescott with his daughter wearing a Cowboys jersey.
