Stephen Jones Echoes Jerry Jones’s View on Potential Cowboys Coaching Changes…
The Dallas Cowboys are dealing with the aftermath of their worst home defeat since 1988, following a 47–9 blowout loss to the Detroit Lions.
After the loss, team owner Jerry Jones made it clear he wasn’t considering any midseason coaching changes. On Monday, Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones echoed that sentiment.
Speaking on 105.3 The Fan, Stephen Jones was asked about potential coaching changes and responded, “No, I don’t. We’ve got the right kind of guys on the coaching staff, the right kind of players. I feel like we have the right group here. I don’t necessarily think raising hell is the solution.”
The Cowboys have yet to secure a win at AT&T Stadium this season, losing all three of their home games so far. Despite the disappointing 47–9 loss to Detroit, the front office remains firm in their decision not to make any major coaching staff changes.
With a bye in Week 7, the Cowboys will have extra time to address their issues before returning to the field in Week 8 against the San Francisco 49ers.
