Breaking News: Raiders Receive Disheartening Update Following Star Player’s Injury During Practice.
The struggling Las Vegas Raiders might need to prepare for a few games without their star wide receiver, Davante Adams.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Adams is now considered week-to-week after suffering a hamstring injury during Thursday’s practice. The Raiders had already ruled him out for this week’s game against the Cleveland Browns, and now there’s concern he could miss multiple weeks.
The six-time Pro Bowler was injured towards the end of Thursday’s practice. He’s had a slow start to the season, with 18 receptions for 209 yards and one touchdown over three games for the 1-2 Raiders.
Hamstring injuries can be especially challenging for wide receivers, who need explosive speed and quick movements to get open. Adams, who will turn 32 later this year, was also recently involved in trade rumors. However, the Raiders’ immediate focus is managing the upcoming games without him, especially with their bye week not coming until Week 10.
