Boston Bruins Injury Update: Key Forward Sidelined for Upcoming Games This Week
Bruins fans will need to wait longer to see Elias Lindholm in action, as the newly signed center remains sidelined with an undisclosed issue. Despite plans for him to join Tuesday’s practice, head coach Jim Montgomery confirmed Lindholm is day-to-day and will not play in this week’s exhibition games.
Lindholm, who signed a seven-year, $54.25 million contract in July, has had limited practice time since camp began. The Bruins are taking a cautious approach, with three preseason games left before the regular season opener on October 8.
Meanwhile, winger Max Jones is also day-to-day, but captain Brad Marchand, recovering from offseason surgeries, has returned to practice in a non-contact capacity.
