Dan Campbell Remains Loyal to Lions Fans Despite Moving Homes…
Dan Campbell is selling his home due to privacy concerns.
However, the Detroit Lions head coach prefers not to discuss the matter.
“I mean no disrespect, but I don’t want to get into any of that,” Campbell said. “It’s all fine. My main responsibility is coaching this team and getting them ready every week. That’s where my focus is.”
As the Lions stand 1-1 ahead of their upcoming game against the Arizona Cardinals, Campbell recently put his Bloomfield Hills home on the market for $4.5 million. The move comes after his address was leaked last season, with security cited as the primary concern. Reports from FOX 2 indicate that the Campbell family faced harassment following their loss to the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship, prompting a police report.
Despite needing to relocate, Campbell still feels deeply connected to Detroit’s fanbase.
“I love our fans—they’re incredible,” Campbell said. “There’s no other place or team I’d rather be with. What we have here is special, and I always tell the guys to appreciate it. Not every place offers what Detroit does.”
Fortunately, the story appears to have a positive outcome, as Campbell’s home is already under contract for sale.
