Clemson (1-1) has had a two-week break since their dominant 66-20 victory over Appalachian State. Meanwhile, their conference schedule has only become more favorable, with no ranked opponents until November.
Despite the explosive performance against Appalachian State, Clemson’s offense needs to establish consistency for the upcoming games.
NC State (2-1) will start true freshman quarterback CJ Bailey, replacing the injured Grayson McCall. This is an ideal chance for Clemson to capitalize on Bailey’s first college start in one of the toughest venues in college football.
