BREAKING NEWS: Former NFL Player Becomes Buffaloes New Head Coach After Deion Sanders Suddenly Leaves Colorado for Florida State Coaching Job…
The Colorado Buffaloes have gained significant attention since Deion Sanders took over as head coach. They began the season with a 2-1 record, securing wins against North Dakota State and Colorado State, before losing to the 22nd-ranked Nebraska.
Last season, under Sanders’ leadership, the Buffaloes improved to a 4-8 record, a step up from their dismal 1-11 performance the year before he arrived. Despite the outcome of Sanders’ second year, former NFL star and close friend, Adam “Pacman” Jones, predicted that Sanders might leave Colorado to coach at his alma mater, Florida State.
“That’s home,” Jones said on “The Pacman Jones Show” on September 18, referring to Florida State. Sanders, who excelled in football, baseball, and track at Florida State from 1985-1988 before his Hall of Fame NFL career, is seen as a perfect fit for the team.
Jones suggested that Sanders might have chosen Florida State over Colorado in 2022, but the school missed its opportunity. With Florida State struggling under Mike Norvell’s leadership, Jones believes now could be the right time for Sanders to return. Another possible factor influencing Sanders’ decision is the expected departure of key players, including his son, Shedeur Sanders, and Travis Hunter, who might enter the NFL draft after this season.
