Sabres Forward Peyton Krebs Signs Two-Year Deal…
Restricted free agent Peyton Krebs has agreed to a two-year, $2.9 million contract with the Buffalo Sabres, as announced on Tuesday.
The 23-year-old forward tallied 17 points (four goals, 13 assists) and accumulated 67 penalty minutes over 80 games last season with the Sabres.
In his career, Krebs has amassed 66 points (20 goals, 46 assists) across 215 games with both the Vegas Golden Knights and Buffalo.
Krebs was drafted 17th overall by the Golden Knights in the 2019 NHL Draft. On November 4, 2021, he, along with forward Alex Tuch and two draft picks, was traded to the Sabres in exchange for star player Jack Eichel.
