Joe Burrow’s wrist injury keeps him on Bengals’ injury report ahead of Chiefs game…
Joe Burrow remains on the injury report, despite fully participating in practice.
“Bengals QB Joe Burrow (right wrist) is listed on the injury report again this week. Was a full participant,” tweeted reporter Ben Baby.
The Bengals are already managing injuries, with wide receiver Tee Higgins missing from practice ahead of their matchup against the Chiefs. While Burrow is likely to play, his condition is worth keeping an eye on as the week progresses.
Burrow downplays wrist concerns
Burrow was asked about a viral video from Week 1, where fans noticed him picking up a water bottle awkwardly during the game against the New England Patriots, leading to speculation about his wrist. Burrow, however, said he hadn’t seen the video and wasn’t concerned.
“I picked it up weird?” Burrow said. “I don’t know, I drink water. I haven’t seen it or know what anyone’s talking about.”
He acknowledged the challenge of returning to play after an injury.
“You’re not sure how it’ll feel,” Burrow said. “That’s part of it. Week 1, nobody’s panicking. We’ve got another chance on Sunday, and 15 more opportunities after that to improve and show what we can do.”
The Bengals-Chiefs matchup is highly anticipated, but injuries to key players could affect the game. Fans hope Burrow will be healthy enough to play at his best.
