Miami Dolphins Release Former Hurricanes Record-Holding Receiver Mike Harley Jr…

Mike Harley Jr., the all-time leading receiver for the Miami Hurricanes, was among the notable cuts from the Miami Dolphins’ 2024 53-man roster. Despite a stellar college career, Harley Jr. has struggled to make a mark in the NFL after going undrafted in 2022. He spent just 20 days in the Dolphins’ training camp, having signed with the team on August 7, 2024.

Harley Jr., a local talent from St. Thomas Aquinas, played in 60 games over five seasons at Miami (2017-2021), where he tallied 182 receptions, 2,158 yards, and 15 touchdowns. He previously participated in training camps with the Cleveland Browns in 2022 and 2023, and was on their practice squad in 2022.
