The Milwaukee Bucks have signed former Loyola-Chicago wing Philip Alston to an Exhibit 10 contract, according to Jon Chepkevich of Draft Express.
Alston, who went undrafted, played with the Bucks in the Summer League and showed promise by averaging 11 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, and a steal in the final game against the Washington Wizards.
The athletic wing averaged 13.6 points, 5.1 rebounds, 0.9 steals, and 0.9 blocks during his last two seasons with the Ramblers, with shooting percentages of 46.0% from the field, 32.6% from three, and 66.7% from the free-throw line.
Philip Alston has agreed to an Exhibit-10 contract with the Milwaukee Bucks, I’m told.
Saw his role expand over the course of NBA Summer League, culminating with a strong performance (11 PTS, 5 REB, 2 AST, 1 STL, game-high +14) as a starter against the Wizards. https://t.co/aqFTzcLd3h pic.twitter.com/OzJSq1zocy

Currently, the Bucks have a full standard roster with fourteen guaranteed contracts and one partially guaranteed contract, plus three two-way deals. During the offseason, teams are allowed to carry up to 21 players before trimming down to 15 for the regular season.
Exhibit 10 contracts, which are fully non-guaranteed, allow players to join training camp and potentially earn a spot in the G League if waived.
Alston is the first Exhibit 10 signing for the Bucks this offseason and will likely spend the season with the Wisconsin Herd, where he could earn a $77.5k bonus if he remains with the team for 60 days.
