This ensures that TNT will continue its nationwide NBA coverage beyond the next season. Consequently, the popular show “Inside the NBA” will remain on air, despite earlier rumors of its cancellation.
One individual particularly thrilled by this news is Giannis Antetokounmpo. The Bucks star has expressed his admiration for the TNT show and one of its hosts, Charles Barkley.
Giannis Antetokounmpo Expresses Fondness for Inside the NBA
Giannis joined a group of players and celebrities who spoke about their personal attachment to “Inside the NBA.” Antetokounmpo shared that it’s one of the few TV shows he actively tries to watch.
“I usually don’t watch a lot of media, but ‘Inside the NBA’ is one of the shows that I make an effort to catch on TV for about five or ten minutes because it’s really funny,” Giannis said. “It’s not just about basketball. You see those guys having fun, teasing each other, and being genuine.”
Giannis Commends Charles Barkley
While Giannis likely admires Shaquille O’Neal, Ernie Johnson, and Kenny Smith as well, he had particular praise for Charles Barkley.

“Charles Barkley is so unique because he has no filter,” Giannis stated. “He speaks his mind and tells the truth, which is why many people respect him. Sometimes, what he says makes no sense, but you respect someone who is honest and has fun with it.”
Despite Barkley’s past criticisms of Giannis and the Bucks, Antetokounmpo appears to appreciate Barkley’s candor, even if he occasionally finds it nonsensical.
