Panthers and Defenseman Adam Boqvist Sign One-Year Deal…
The Florida Panthers have reached an agreement with defenseman Adam Boqvist on a one-year contract as of Tuesday.
The Swedish player will now team up with his older brother, forward Jesper Boqvist, who is part of the current Stanley Cup-winning roster.
Adam Boqvist, aged 23, contributed one goal and nine assists in 35 games with the Columbus Blue Jackets during the 2023-24 season.
Selected in the first round (eighth overall) by Chicago in 2018, Boqvist has accumulated 85 points (23 goals, 62 assists) across 209 games with both the Blackhawks (2019-21) and the Blue Jackets.
Jesper Boqvist, 25, also signed a one-year deal with the Panthers on July 1.
