In addition to Mitchell and Vezenkov, Toronto acquired the No. 45 overall pick in the second round of the 2024 NBA draft from Sacramento, according to ESPN.

Mitchell, 25, was drafted ninth overall by the Kings in 2021 and spent his first three NBA seasons with the team. With Toronto, McDaniels averaged career lows of 3.4 points and 1.6 rebounds per game in 50 games (one start). Throughout his career, which includes stints with Charlotte (2019-23), Philadelphia (2023), and Toronto (2023-24), he has averaged 6.9 points and 3.3 rebounds per game in 248 appearances (45 starts).
